Wallpaper hung so you can't find the joins
A feature wall behind a bed, a papered chimney breast, or a whole room in something bold. Wallpaper has come a long way back into fashion, and it is far less forgiving than paint.
The wall underneath has to be flat and sound, the pattern has to line up across every drop, and the seams have to close properly. Get any of that wrong and it's the first thing anyone notices.
How we hang it
Most of the skill is in what happens before the first drop goes up.
Stripping out
Old paper removed rather than papered over, and the wall made good underneath.
Lining where needed
Uneven or previously painted walls lined first so the finish paper sits flat.
Sizing and sealing
Bare plaster sealed so the paper doesn't dry out too fast and lift at the edges.
Pattern matching
Drops set out so the repeat runs true across the wall and round corners.
Awkward walls
Chimney breasts, alcoves, sloping ceilings and stairwells, all cut in neatly.
Murals and panels
Large-format and panelled papers hung in the right order and sequence.
Bring us the paper before you buy it
Different papers behave very differently. Some need paste on the wall, some on the paper, and a few of the cheaper ones stretch as they get wet and will never match cleanly.

Common questions
How much paper do I need?
It depends on the pattern repeat as much as the room size. Send us the paper details and the room measurements and we'll work it out for you.
Can you paper over what's there?
We'd rather not. Papering over old paper tends to lift at the seams. Stripping it back gives a far better result.
Do you hang customers' own paper?
Yes, most of the time we do. Just let us see it before you order in case it needs the wall lining first.
How long does a feature wall take?
Usually a day including preparation. A full room is two to three days depending on the walls and the pattern.
