There's a real mix here. Stone cottages around the old village and the market place, long runs of 1930s semis, and a lot of newer development on the edges towards Chapel Milton. The cottages often have uneven walls and older woodwork that needs stripping back rather than another coat over the top.
Plenty of the newer houses in Chapel were finished quickly by developers, and we get called in a few years later when the original paintwork starts letting go off the plaster. That's usually a mist coat that was never properly thinned.
